In this help article you will find step-by-step instructions how to set up your Business Email (POP/IMAP) mailbox in Microsoft Outlook 2016 for Windows (Office Package Edition)
This article contains the following sections:
I. IMAP configuration instructions:
1. In Outlook, choose the File tab.
2. Under Account Information, choose Add Account.
3. On the Auto Account Setup page, choose Advanced Options, and select Let me set up my account manually then click Connect.
4. On the Advanced Setup page, choose IMAP and click Next.
5. Next, on the IMAP Account Settings page, enter the following information:
- Incoming mail server: imap.siteprotect.com
- Port: 993
- Ecryption method: TLS
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.siteprotect.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption method: TLS
- Do NOT select the Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) check box
- Click Next
6. Enter your email password and click Connect.
II. POP configuration instructions:
1. In Outlook, choose the File tab.
2. Under Account Information, choose Add Account.
3. On the Auto Account Setup page, choose Advanced Options, and select Let me set up my account manually then click Connect.
4. On the Advanced Setup page, choose POP and click Next.
5. Next, on the IMAP Account Settings page, enter the following information:
- Incoming mail server: securepop.siteprotect.com
- Port: 995
- Ecryption method: TLS
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.siteprotect.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption method: TLS
- Do NOT select the Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) check box
- Click Next
6. Enter your email password and click Connect.
